Applied Technical Research Lab
Where practical engineering meets experimental rigour. Our laboratory investigates emerging threat surfaces, builds open telemetry prototypes, and stresstests novel infrastructure primitives before they reach commercial client deployments.
Active Research Vectors
Four primary experimental tracks currently active in our testing harness.
LLM Security Boundaries & Autonomous Tool-Execution Sandboxing
As enterprise workflows grant autonomous agents access to databases, webhooks, and communication APIs, indirect prompt injection becomes a catastrophic lateral movement vector. We are developing deterministic micro-sandboxes that isolate tool invocation, enforce hardware token authentication for high-impact mutations, and parse model output through strict typed schema filters.
High-Fidelity Detection Engineering for Linux Workloads
Engineering low-overhead kernel telemetry decoders (Wazuh, auditd, eBPF) that distinguish legitimate administrative orchestration from hostile process hollowing and memory manipulation. This research feeds directly into ZIMA MDR's operational detection rules.
Ephemeral Zero-Trust Cryptographic Meshes
Investigating latency and throughput trade-offs of replacement architectures for traditional VPN concentrators. Testing distributed WireGuard mesh protocols, mutual TLS proxying, and automated key rotation across multi-cloud and edge nodes.
Zero-Dependency Architecture & Attack Surface Minimisation
Proving that modern enterprise platforms can achieve 99.99% uptime with radically smaller dependency trees, zero npm supply-chain vulnerabilities, and minimal CPU footprint through native runtimes and disciplined systems programming.
